Seal Waters sits at the head of Budle Bay, a sheltered tidal inlet on the Northumberland coast, just two miles north of Bamburgh. The cottage looks directly across the bay towards Holy Island and the open sea — a view that changes with every tide and every season. This is one of the least-visited stretches of the English coast, and one of the most quietly spectacular.

By Road
From the A1, take the B1341 towards Bamburgh. Before reaching the village, turn left onto the road signposted for Budle. The cottage is on the right as the road descends towards the bay. The journey from Newcastle is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes; from Edinburgh, around 1 hour 30 minutes.
By Rail
The nearest mainline station is Berwick-upon-Tweed (14 miles), served by LNER trains from London King's Cross and Edinburgh Waverley. A taxi from Berwick to the cottage takes around 25 minutes. Alnmouth station (20 miles) is an alternative with good connections to Newcastle.
By Air
Newcastle International Airport is approximately 60 miles south, around 1 hour 15 minutes by road.
