The Owners will accept a provisional booking and reserve the cottage for your holiday provided that we receive £100 Deposit from you within 7 working days, with the balance payable 4 weeks in advance of your holiday. We will treat the booking as cancelled if the balance of the payment is not received 4 weeks before the arrival date, and every effort will be made to re-let the vacancy Lets are from 3.00pm on Saturday until 10.00am the following Saturday If you book the cottage less than 4 weeks before your arrival date your booking must be paid for in full. No more than 4 guests shall stay in the cottage at any time. The Owners do not expect to have to make any changes to your booking, but occasionally problems occur and bookings have to be changed or cancelled. If this does happen, we will contact you as soon as is reasonably practical, explain what has happened, and inform you of the cancellation or change. If you have to, or wish to, cancel your booking, you must contact us as soon as possible. Depending on the timing of your cancellation, you may receive a refund of all monies (less deposit). For example if we have sufficient time and are able to re-let. Clearly the closer to your arrival date you cancel then the less likely it will be that we are able to offer a refund. Cancellation: Our cancellation terms are as follows: You may cancel within 7 working days of our confirmation of booking, during which time the deposit will be returned in full. After this date the deposit is non-refundable, regardless of circumstances. From 5 weeks to 2 weeks prior to the arrival date 75% of the balance will be forfeit Within 14 days of the arrival date 100% of the rental fee will be forfeit You and all members of your party agree both to keep the cottage clean and tidy and to leave the cottage in a similar condition as you found it upon your arrival. You and all members of your party further agree not to use the cottage for any commercial purpose, including without limitation assigning or subletting it or otherwise allowing anyone to occupy it who has not previously been accepted by the booking. You are responsible for the actual costs of any breakage or damage in or to the cottage - along with any additional costs that may result - which are caused by you and/or any members of your party, and we will require payment from you to cover any such costs. The right is reserved to make a charge for additional cleaning if the property has not been left reasonably clean. If you take a pet with you, it is not allowed on beds or furniture. Pets should not be left unattended in the property, and dogs should be kept on a lead within the boundaries of the property including the garden. Registered guide and support dogs belonging to those with visual and hearing impairments are allowed. Customers with allergies should be aware that we cannot guarantee that a registered guide and/or support dog has not stayed in the cottage nor can we accept any liability for any suffering which may occur as a result of such animals having been present.
